Aberglaslyn MRT

Aberglaslyn Mountain Rescue Team (Tim Achub Mynydd Aberglaslyn) provides a search and rescue service, not just on the mountains but covering the whole of north west Wales, including urban and rural areas and along the coasts of North Wales, serving the whole community. Fun fact: Bear Grylls is an honorary member.

If you have an accident in the hills

Dial 999 or 112. Ask for 'Police' then 'Mountain Rescue'. To use the emergencySMS service: Text 999 and send 'Police' + details of incident + location
