At 13:02 on Friday 9th August Patterdale MRT was alerted by Cumbria Police, for the second time in 3 hours, to an incident at Glencoyne Bay on Ullswater.   This time two boys in an inflatable boat had been blown out of the shelter of the bay.   

The Team initiated a response but had barely launched their rescue boat when they were stood down as the boys had been assisted from the water by a paddle boarder.

The incident lasted 30 minutes and invovled five team members.
