Issue 61 Mountain Rescue Summer 2017
Wellbeing came back into focus again with a piece from therapist Charlotte Pepper on PTSD, increasingly recognised as a potential issue for mountain rescuers. Lyle Brotherton talked us through circumnavigating obstacles, Dave Whalley talked about the danger of crumbling rock climbs and Peter Sapsford continued chatting about his experiences as a Lakes dogsbody. We had more on peer review from Tim Cain and Northumberland NPMRT and news that the Lakes and MREW had launched revised safety leaflets.
