Issue 34 Mountain Rescue October 2010
Continuing our regular international flavour, Steve Hepburn reported on the recent Keswick MRT trip to do technical rescue training in Canada with Kirk Mauthner. At home, Geoff Monk talked about coastal weather, Ewan Thomas Howie Crook and Alan George talked swiftwater rescue, Daryl Garfield updated on the use of blue lights and sirens by mountain rescue teams and David Allan moved from Valsalva Manouevre to the Circle of Willis, the ninth and final part in his journey through eponymous medical terms.
