A Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team member has died after collapsing suddenly while on duty at Ten Tors.

Pauline Richard was one of the team’s longest-serving members, working for them for the best part of three decades. She was taken to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth on Sunday after collapsing while at the event.

Her colleagues said they will miss her “commitment, humour and friendship”.
