Mountain Rescue - England and Wales raises money to support the work of the national body and the 57 individual rescue teams that exist in England and Wales.
We are extremely grateful to groups or individuals who raise money for Mountain Rescue through organising fundraising events, as we are not in a position to organise events or run a programme of events, and therefore we rely very much on the goodwill and generosity of others. So if you would like to support the work of Mountain Rescue, here's how:
This will not only provide funding for Mountain Rescue but will raise awareness.
There are lots of wonderful activities you can organise in aid of the Mountain
Rescue - England and Wales (Click here for some ideas). Even though a fundraising event might seem daunting,
with lots of enthusiasm, commitment and support you will find the experience
enjoyable and very rewarding.
